About CoffeeAid
CoffeeAid is a family run company whose owners have over 25 years experience in the coffee industry. By recognising the good that comes from selling ethical products in the helping of third world countries, CoffeeAid have created an online shopping site that specialises in Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance beverages. We support UK charities from your purchases of Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance products.
The market place does not always support ethical products from third world countries, but evidence shows it has become more committed when aid is also generated from sales for much needed use here at home. CoffeeAid has therefore set up a partnership with the charity “Action for Children” where CoffeeAid gives a percentage from each item sold.
“Action for Children”, originally known as The National Childrens Home, was founded in 1869 by Methodist Minister Thomas Bowman Stephenson, operating in 24 countries providing residential care. Today, it specialises in working with families or young people, either in their own homes or non-residential facilities, in partnership with statutory bodies. Action for Children helps the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential.
For further information this site has links direct to Action for Children as well as the Fairtrade Foundation and Rainforest Alliance. CoffeeAid will periodically launch campaigns to raise money through its customers by asking them to hold a CoffeeAid Day for Action for Children, should they wish to do so. CoffeeAid also offers a large range of ancillary products in support of its ethical coffee, tea and chocolate, including catering and vending equipment. CoffeeAid is gaining support on a daily basis especially from churches, schools, universities and councils, as well as caterers and offices. CoffeeAid welcomes your feedback in helping to improve this site and its service.
